What Is The Church

The church is not a building, an event, or a feeling; it is the people redeemed by Jesus and gathered under His authority. Christ is the originator, owner, and head of the Church, and He is building His people for His redemptive purpose. Because the Church belongs to Him, we must see it the way He does and live as members of the body He purchased with His blood.
