Unexpected Immortality

It's safe to say, Jesus' life and ministry was "unexpected" by all definitions of the word. This unexpectedness of his being is something only God could have envisioned. God sent us His Son, the only worthy payment for our sins. The expected is "normal" and "normal" wasn't what we needed. We needed a savior, an unexpected King to save us from the punishment we deserve.
