It Is Finished

In John 19:30, the Bible chronicles the final moments of Jesus' life on earth. Jesus breathed his final breath and said: "It is finished." In that moment, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy. His final words were not a declaration of defeat, but rather a proclamation salvation for all. The debt of sin for ALL mankind had been paid for, and the wrath of God satisfied.
